Kerala's Higher Education Minister Katie Jalil resigns, accuses of misuse of pos
A division bench of Lokayukta submitted its report against Jalil to the Chief Minister on Friday and said that the minister should not continue in office.
Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala (Kerala) Higher Education Minister KT Jaleel (KT Jaleel) resigned from the P Vijayan cabinet on Tuesday. A few days before this, the state Lokayukta had said that Jalil benefited one of his relatives. He has 'misused' his position as a public servant to deliver. Sources in the Chief Minister's Office said that Jalil has sent his resignation to the Chief Minister and the resignation letter has been sent to the Governor. The minister has confirmed the developments on Facebook.
