Delhi : Now a new controversy has arisen regarding the Delhi University Open Book Exam. Due to Covid-19, this time the university had taken the semester exam for various courses on the open book pattern on online mode. Students took the online exam from their own homes or convenient places and submitted papers. Recently the result of this examination was released. Since then, many complaints of students are reaching the university. Many students say that in the papers they attended, took the exam, also submitted the tearsheet, they have been declared absent. In the result, they have been given 0 marks by writing an absent in front of their names.
A student of Geography Honors of Kirori Mal College said that 'On August 11, I took the examination of Political Geography. My answer sheet was unable to be uploaded on the portal, so I e-mailed it. Confirmation email was also received from the examination department. But now in the result I have been told about that subject.
What did DU say
Ashutosh Kumar, exam nodal officer of the College of Vocational Studies, says that such emails have been received from students of all departments. About 50 such emails have been received so far. 20% of them say that their results are not found on the portal. While 80 percent of the complainants are complaining about the mark.
