New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can announce the results of the canceled Class 10 board examinations in July. CBSE had earlier said that the schools will submit the marks of the students by June 11 and the result will be declared by the third week of June. However, now the board has extended the date of submission of marks of class 10th students for schools till June 30. In such a situation, the result of CBSE 10th Board can be expected to be released in July.

To ensure the lockdown and safety of teachers and staff in several states due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, CBSE decided to extend the deadline for submitting students' marks. Announcing the revised schedule of submitting marks of class 10 board exam, CBSE said, "CBSE has given top priority to the safety and health of teachers.

Assessment criteria

Class 10th students will be evaluated out of 100 marks for each subject. As per CBSE assessment policy, 20 marks are for internal assessment and 80 marks are for year end board examinations.
