40 percent toilets do not work in government schools, CAG

Delhi:The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has made a big disclosure about the toilets built in schools of the country in one of its reports. According to the report, in 15 major states of the country, 75 percent of schools have toilets built in schools that do not fit on the scale of cleanliness.

According to the CAG report tabled in Parliament, 1812 out of every 2326 toilets have no water system, 715 out of 1812 toilets are not cleaned. In such a situation, 75 percent of the toilets of government schools do not have proper sanitation, soap and water.
