Ranchi: There is a preparation to increase the fees of Government Medical Colleges of Haryana in Haryana. The intention of the government is to increase the annual fees of the medical college from Rs 53 thousand to one million rupees. The government will help the students in getting the educational loan to pay this fee.

Sources say that it was previously thought that at the time of admission to MBBS, the bond of working in Haryana should be filled for two years only. After much discussion and legal opinion, the draft could not be agreed. Only after that it was thought to increase the fees.

After the results of NEET, counseling in Haryana has not started yet. And if the increase in fees is to be implemented from this year, then the government will also have to issue notification before counseling.

The fees for the year are up to Rs 15-18 lakh in private medical colleges of the state and Rs 53 thousand in all government medical colleges. The annual fee in the Government Medical College of Punjab is now one and a half lakh rupees. Students studying MBBS in Himachal Pradesh have to pay 60 thousand rupees and in Chandigarh 25 thousand rupees.
