New Delhi: The Supreme Court on October 4 refused to postpone the proposed civil service preliminary examination. Now the exam will be done on the fixed date and time. Nearly 10 lakh students applied for the exam. According to the information received from UPSC, six and a half lakh of these candidates have downloaded the admit card.
What rules have been made by the Commission
According to the guideline of the Commission, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center without a face mask. Examiners will have to follow all the rules of protection from Kovid.
Social distancing has to be followed before entering the examination hall and also in the examination center campus. For this, marks will be made at appropriate distance.
The Commission has allowed the candidates to carry hand sanitizers with them. The only condition is that the sanitizer bottle should be transparent.
No paper admit card: UPSC has said no to issuing any paper admit cards and candidates are asked to carry a print of their e-admit cards at the allotted venues. The candidates are also required to carry along the photo ID card, whose number is mentioned in the e-admit card, for appearing at each session of the exam. In case the photograph is not clear, blurred or not available on the e-admit card, candidates will also have to carry two identical photographs.
