Indian students studying in America increased by 30 percent

Delhi: In the last one year, there has been a record increase in the number of Indian students studying in America. The Open Doors Report on International Educational Exchange, released on Monday, said that in the last one year the number of Indian students studying in the US has increased by about 30%.

With this, the number of Indian students studying in America has now increased to one lakh 32 thousand 888. These Indian students are contributing more than $ 3.6 billion to the American economy. In the US, Indian students account for 13.6% of the foreign students. In this regard, India ranks second in terms of foreign students coming to America.

According to the report, the number of Chinese students studying in America is the highest (3,400,000). Although the number of Chinese students increased by only 11 per cent this year, the number of Indian students in the US increased by 29.4 per cent.

According to this report published by the Institute of International Education, the number of Indian students in the US has seen such an increase for the first time.
