Ballia[U.P]: Perarivalan, who hails from Jolarpet town in Tamil Nadu, was arrested in 1991 for his involvement in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination when he was just 19 years old. At that time, Perarivalan was a sharp student who had just finished a diploma in electronics and communication and was looking for further studies in Chennai. Meanwhile, Rajiv Gandhi was killed and Perarivalan was arrested.
Perarivalan, whose household name is Logu Arivu, also studied in prison Continued. From the jail itself, he gave 12th examination, in which he passed with 91.33 percent number.
